Certification with PRODEFOR

PRODEFOR is a Group Certification Mechanism, approved by FSC™ available to small and midsize forest owners, whose main purpose is to encourage forest certification in order to ensure the implementation of best management practices throughout the production chain. PRODEFOR is a FSC™ certification channel, which uses  Comaco Forestal’s  available certification experience in favour of small and mid size forest owners

Forest certification is becoming a vital requirement when  competing  in forest products international markets, which today gives preference to FSC™ Certified products, following consumer’s preferences.  For this reason, Comaco Forestal makes this competitive tool and corresponding technical assistance, available at a convenient price, to forest companies willing to joint PRODEFOR.

Comaco Forestal makes available its professionals team, who will give technical advice and constant support to the forest companies during the whole certification process, until the standards required by FSC™ are  .accomplished.
