1. Woodchips

The chips are primarily aimed at obtaining cellulose, raw material for papermaking. Comaco Forest is a pioneer and national leader in the export of wood chips to various international markets. Japan is the largest importer of wood chips in the world with whom we have maintained a business relationship continuously for the past 25 years. Today, Forest Comaco markets and exports more than 700,000 bdmt (bone dried metric ton) of Radiata pine chips, Eucalyptus globulus and Eucalyptus nitens.

The industrial process and quality chips produced have FSC Controlled Wood. Moreover, the coming of our forests have FSC pure quality, as forests are certified FSC, complying with the principles, criteria and standards for this label.

 


2. Pulplogs

From Radiata Pine: Pieces of pine of 12 cm and less than 8 to 12 cm in diameter, which usually have a length of 2.44 meters. Are obtained from forest management and harvesting.

From Eucalyptus :  Pieces of diameter of 5 cm and more, with a length of 2.44 to 3.50 meters or another. Are obtained from the harvest and are marketed, especially for pulp production.
